[:en]About Growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH)[:]

[:en]Growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), also known as sermorelin, works by stimulating the pituitary gland in order to release. Once done, it releases growth hormone.

GHRH has been touted for many positive effects, such as on cells, tissues, and muscles for those that want to get bigger or gain muscle mass. However, there are conditions and diseases, in which cases this hormone may be a promoter for the spread of the condition or disease.

Here we list out some of the positive and negative effects currently being discussed in research studies.

Positive Effects:

1.  Heart Protection

2. Improving Muscle Health

3. Protecting the Brain

4. Wound Healing

5. Lowering Chances of Childhood Obesity

6. Promoting Child Growth and Fetus Development

7. Improving Testicular Function

8. Providing HIV symptom relief

In all of these ideas, there is ongoing research to determine what the exact effect is, and how.  More details of the research in these areas can be found in the reference article (see below).
Negative Effects:
1.  Promotes Cancer and Disease
2. Increases Diabetes Symptoms
3. Increases Fat Levels
4. Inhibits Memory Formation
5. Promotes Eye Disease

As you can see, the negative effects may be extremely severe, as such, it is important to discuss any of these types of items thoroughly with your doctor to ensure you are being safe.

GHRH has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency in all sports, due to potential toxicity concerns and causing destruction and deficiencies.
